Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect your personal information when providing HiLo and its related services. Please read it carefully before registering, signing in or using the service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your phone number or email address, sign-in state, account ID, membership status, membership expiry, redemption-code history, and details you choose to provide such as nickname, avatar and language preference.
- Verification and security information: what is needed to send and check SMS or email verification codes, plus sign-in time, session state, IP address, User-Agent and basic device and network information, used for authentication, account security and troubleshooting.
- Service usage information: your watchlist, alert settings, page visits, feature usage, and saved or subscribed preferences, used to deliver those features and keep your state in sync.
- Push-related information: when you enable notifications, we may process the device identifier or push token required by APNs, FCM, Huawei Push or JPush in order to deliver the alerts you subscribed to.
2. How we use it
We use this information to register and sign you in, send verification codes, manage membership and redemption-code entitlements, deliver your watchlist and alerts, send service notices, protect account security, control abuse, investigate faults, improve performance and improve the product.
We do not use your personal information for tracking advertising unrelated to this service, and we do not access your trading accounts, wallets or exchange API keys without authorisation.
3. Sharing and sale
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except where required by law, where you have given consent, or where it is necessary to deliver the service.
To provide verification codes, push notifications, cloud hosting, security protection and fault diagnosis, the relevant service providers may process the information necessary for their role. We require them to protect your information under our agreements and applicable law, and not to use it for unrelated purposes.
4. Storage and protection
We keep your information only for as long and as far as is necessary to deliver the service, and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, including access control, encryption in transit, privilege separation, audit logging and anomaly monitoring.
No environment on the internet can be absolutely secure. If a personal-information security incident occurs, we will take remedial action as required by law and, where necessary, inform you through in-app notice, a published announcement or another reasonable means.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, withdraw consent, or close your account. To protect your account we may need to verify your identity before acting on such a request. Deleting some information may leave your account, membership, alerts or saved settings unusable.
6. Minors
This service is intended for users with the legal capacity to enter into a contract. A minor should obtain a guardian’s consent and use the service under the guardian’s guidance. If a guardian believes a minor has provided us with personal information, they may contact us.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, features, applicable law or regulatory requirements change. The updated policy will be shown through a page notice, an in-app prompt or another reasonable means, and takes effect from the time stated when it is published.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, how we handle personal information, or your account data, you can reach us through the in-app feedback entry, the support channels listed in the page footer, or any other contact method we publish. We will respond as soon as we have verified your identity and the issue.
